A yellow villa on the hill at Fiesole, with formal gardens on one side and the whole of Florence on the other. They were married outdoors under an old oak, in peach and orange, and went inside afterwards to a painted room for dinner.

The villa gives you two entirely different weddings on the same afternoon, and this one took both. Outside: an oak, a lawn, a hillside, orange flowers, no roof.
Inside: frescoes, chandeliers, a long painted hall and the kind of light that makes photographs look older than they are. Half an hour apart, and nothing else in common.
