I divide my year between Florence and Orange County, photographing and filming weddings across Italy, California, and wherever the celebration takes me. Living and working in both has taught me the value of knowing a place without taking it for granted. I arrive prepared, direct when it helps, and leave enough room for the day to remain its own.

Italy is where my instincts were formed: the language, the pace, and the quiet choreography behind a celebration. I know what happens beyond the frame — the distances, the changing light, the way a villa moves from preparation to dinner. For couples arriving from abroad, that familiarity makes the day easier before I make a single photograph.

Orange County is my second base — not a stop on an itinerary. California brings more direct light, more open space, and a different rhythm. I bring the same preparation and restraint, then let the place and the people set the tone.

Home is a
working language
Knowing a place is not the same as being charmed by it. It is knowing that the light leaves that terrace at seven, that the drive is twenty minutes and not the forty the map says, and that the moment worth photographing usually happens just before someone announces it.
That is what I can give a couple who is not from here: not a tour, but the confidence that nothing on the day will be a surprise to the person holding the camera.
