How far in advance should I write?
As soon as your date and venue are reasonably settled. Most wedding commissions are confirmed nine to fifteen months in advance, with sought-after weekends often booking earlier. A date is officially reserved once the agreement is signed and the retainer received; an enquiry alone does not hold it.
Do you travel outside Italy and California?
Yes. I photograph and film weddings wherever the celebration takes me. Any necessary travel and accommodation are calculated for the actual location and included clearly in the proposal — never added as a surprise later. For long-haul destinations, full-day or wedding-weekend coverage may be required.
Do you photograph and film the same wedding?
Yes. When photography and film are commissioned together, I plan them as one coverage, working from a single timeline. Depending on the scale and schedule of the day, I work with a trusted second professional, keeping the team as small and unobtrusive as the celebration allows.
What happens after I send this?
I read every enquiry personally and reply within two business days. If I am available, I will send the relevant collections and suggest a short call to hear more about the celebration. After that, you will receive a tailored proposal; the date is reserved once the agreement and retainer are complete.
Can I write to you directly instead of using this form?
Yes. The form is only here because it asks the questions I would ask anyway, which saves a round of email. If you would rather write in your own words, info@stefanocasati.com reaches the same place and I answer it myself.
