Not a wedding: a shoot, made in a Sicilian villa in November with nobody to photograph but two people and the light coming through five sets of shutters. Painted walls, an art-nouveau ceiling, a lace dress with sleeves, and a floor covered in confetti by the end of the afternoon.

What a shoot
is actually
for
An editorial is where you find out what you believe about light before a real wedding forces you to decide in four seconds. Nobody is late, nothing is being rushed, and the only thing at stake is whether the picture is good.
So the frames here are deliberately the ones a wedding day rarely allows: a hand in a sleeve, a shoulder against a painted wall, the same window used twice on purpose. It is practice, and it is also the clearest statement of the look on this site.
