June 2020, which is the whole point of it: the first shoot after months of nothing, made in a villa on Lake Maggiore with a red-haired bride, a gilded library, a pier and a lot of held breath. It was called In One Breath and the title was not a metaphor.

The first
day back
Everything about this shoot was a decision to start again: a house that had been shut, a team that had not worked in months, and a lake that had been almost empty since February.
It shows in the pictures, which are stiller than a wedding and considerably less polite about it. Nobody was in a hurry to leave.
