Villa Lena · Toiano, Palaia, Tuscany
Zoë and Robin came from Belgium and asked for one thing: that it look like it happened. A little imprecise, a little dirty, analogue — and only a handful of frames where anyone was asked to stand anywhere.

They perfectly capture all the loving memories of our wedding. They truly feel like a dream to us.

A villa
with a
pool in it
Villa Lena is a working estate above Palaia — terracotta, olives, and a pool that on a August afternoon is where eighty-one people actually are, whatever the schedule says.
Which suited the brief. An aperitif nobody organised is the easiest hour of the day to photograph honestly, and the hardest to fake.
